" Pencak Silat Given UNESCO Intangible World Haritage Distinction"

     Pencak Silat is a martial art that combines dance in it that has attracted  the attantion of many people in a film .  UNESCO has recognited pencak silat as an intangible world heritage.

     UNESCO inter ministerial general assembly announced that inscription of pencak silat onto its representative list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity at its meeting in Bogota, Colombia. The disciplint had element of comradeship and helped preserve social order. Wheitis in Indonesia's region nationally and internationally.

      As a sport and art form , pencak silat contains both self defense and artistict aspect is region in Indonesia persues its own distinct style while maintaning common fundamental principle.

     Pencak silat has enjoyed a wider audience outside of Indonesia in recent years  thanks practition like Iko uwais, yayan ruhian, and cecep Arif rahman who have appread in film Franchis such as the raid, John wick and star wars.

 

      I like this article because Pencak Silat is my hobby  and I proud to be part in pencak silat organization who has intangible world heritage.
